Mangalore : The atrocity posed to people through moral policing must be stopped in the state, hence the police department must work to bring these fanatic outfits in the district, said Honourable Nadoja SR Nayak, chairman of State Human Rights Commission.
He was speaking at the grievance meet held at DC Court on September 24, Saturday. He also said that the police commissioner and Superintendent of police must be made responsible to these atrocities taking place in city by the outfits.
During the meet, one o the complainant filed complaint against M K Balakrsihna for running a medical health clinic, without having any eligibility of medical education.
He also said that in spite of complaining several times with police and District Health officer, no action has been taken so far. Regarding this issue, Mr Nayak demanded the investigation on this regard with police and DHO Srirangappa.
When he people complained about the police atrocities on the innocent people in the city, S R Nayak said that the police officer who think to have power after wearing the uniform and attack the public are unfit to be a police officer.
The members of Dalit Samithi said that the police department has neglect a murder case investigation of Taxi driver Govardhan. Replying to this SR Nayak ordered the police department make an investigation on the cases.
SR Nayak also suggested Haadiya student of Moodbidri College to appeal at civil court against the ban on scarf wearing by Muslim girls in colleges.
Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh, SP Labu Ram, DC Dr Channappa Gowda, ZP CEO Vijayaprakash were present on the occasion.
