Kundapur : Kundapur district additional fast track court convicted two persons from Kottayam on Thursday March 5, in the case of attempting to murder a circle inspector jeep driver in 2010.

The first accused Raghu was sentenced life imprisonment till death under section 302 and Rajesh was sentenced to five years in jail and Rs 10,000 fine under IPC section 307.

Additional two years of rigorous imprisonment under IPC section 332 for obstructing the police from doing their duty.
