Mangalore : The Mangalore city police have arrested 3 accused involved in the murder of 2 rowdy sheeters at Moodushedde within few hours after the murder on Nov 11, Friday
The deceased are Murugesh and Upendra, who were allegedly involved in the murder case of notorious rowdy Vamanjoor Rohi in the year 2009.
The two were killed with sickles near Shivanagara Devi Temple, Moodushedde.
Giving away the details of the arrest, Mangalore Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh said that the police began investigating the case soon and arrested Gopal, Raghu, and Faizal within a few hours of the murder.
Murugesh died on the spot, but Upendra died when he was being taken to the hospital.
The intention of the murder is suspected to be rivalry between two gangs. The two gangs came together when they were arrested in 2002 in relate to Nagesh Poojary murder in Pilikula, but later, differences of opinion it split into two.
