Manjeshwara: Police have successfully arrested absconded ganja peddler on Friday.

Abbas alias Ambachu (42) of Mallangai is the arrested person. He was on run after police raided his auto rickshaw. He left the auto rickshaw and ganja and ran away from the sight of police.

Police had stopped his rickshaw while he was smuggling the ganja near Pathvadi, Uppala on June 4. He escaped from the clutches of the police. Police had seized the auto rickshaw and 200 gms of ganja from the rickshaw.
