Kasargod: In a rare case, a man has been arrested by the Hosdurg police personnel at Mangaluru airport for the death of his wife, who had committed suicide by jumping from her residence at Kuwait.

Satyaprakash alias Prakash Krishna (34) is the arrested person. He is a resident of Kushalnagar Kanhangad.

His wife Sushma had married him in 2002 and he had taken her with him to Kuwait. Fortunately she succeeded in getting a job in a company in Kuwait. Later she died after jumping from the residential apartment on September 24, 2013.

Based on the incident a complaint has been registered at Hosdurg police station by victim’s father K V kunhikrishnan.

It is reported that Satyaprakash had the habit of drinking and he was harassing his wife repeatedly. Susham’s salary was taken by him and spent on liquor and other things.

Satyaprakash was asked to visit the police station when he came back to India along with his wife’s body, but he went back to Kuwait without informing police and a look out notice was issued against him.

After three years of gap police received the hint that he is returning back to India and police arrested in on his arrival at the Mangaluru International Airport.
