Kasargod: A five year old girl was raped brutally by a middle age person at Badiyadka police station jurisdiction. Police have nabbed a local BJP leader in connection with the case.

Chidanand Acharya (45) is the deceased person. He is the owner of a jewellery shop at Perla. Now, he has been arrested for the allegations of raping a five year old child.

Girl’s health condition was severely affected after the incident. When her mother enquired about it girl revealed the truth.

Parents registered a complaint at Badiyadka police station.

Police raided Chidanand’s shop and arrested him. The cases has been registered under POCSO Act and further rape and threatening to life cases are also registered against him.
