Mangaluru: The police managed to nab the undertrial who had escaped from the Mangaluru district prison on March 10; the man was reportedly caught at Sullia.

Jinappa Parava (43) from Belthangady had escaped from jail and a case in that regard was registered at Barke police station.

A massive manhunt was launched and Parava was caught in Sullia on Tuesday.

Parava faces several charges including a few under theft and one under the POCSO Act.

He was later handed over to the Barke police for further investigation.
