Uppinangady : Police booked a case violating the Covid rules against four people while catching fish in a rivulet near Eenekal Devaragundi pond.

Basheer Narimogaru, Abdul Razak, Basheer Savanoor and Abdul Samad, all residents of Savanoor village of Puttur taluk are the accused.

They are accused of catching fish in the public pond without maintaining any social distance.

A case in this connection is registered in Subramanya police station under column 269 and 270 of IPC based on the complaint filed by Enekal resident Udayakumar.
