Mangaluru : The Billawa Brigade on Monday, December 7 organised a massive bike rally upto Kenjar demanding to name Mangaluru International Airport after Tulunadu folk legends Koti and Chennaya.

The police obstructed the rally at Maravoor, the bikers had to abandon their bikes and walk by foot from Maravoor to Kenjar. All along the participants shouted slogans in support of their demand.

The protest was led by Satyajit Suratkal who said the protest will continue until the airport is named after Koti-Chennaya.
