Mangaluru : The city police took 13 children into their custody on suspicious child trafficking at Mangaluru Central Railway Station on Saturday.

It is said, A tottal 47 childrens arrived from Bihar to Mangalore, in that only 34 of them had valid documents. The children came with their warden to the Madrasa at Jamiya Masjid at Kudroli owned by Mohammed Masood. Other 13 children the not carry any documents.

After registering a case, police have handed over these 13 children to child welfare committee at Bondel.

Police sources said, All 47 children are from Bihar. They arrived in Mangaluru for Madrasa education.
