Mangalore : A police team led by Mysore DIG Prisons Vishwanathaiah raided the District Jail here on July 30, Tuesday but could not find any  drugs, cell phones or any other prohibited goods.

Incidentally during every earlier raid the police team could find some banned goods inside the jail which is also infamous for frequent clashes between under trials.

The raiding team  comprised  Kavitha, ACP, Jagadish, DCP, Raghava Padil, Inspector of Bundre, Ramachandra,  Inspector of Urva police station among others.

The raiding team inspected both A and B blocks of the prison.
