Kasargod: A 52-year-old BJP party worker was hacked to death by a gang of assailants on Wednesday at Dharmadhom, Kannur.

The deceased has been identified as Santhosh of Andaloor in Dharmadhom. The assailants rushed into his house and hacked him to death.

Santhosh was alone at the time when assailants barged into the house. The neighbours informed the police immediately and they also rushed to the spot. Santhosh was taken to Tellichery Hospital, where he breathed his last.

As per the reports a crude bomb was thrown at RSS office by the miscreants and the furniture’s have been damaged in the incident. As it was night time nobody was there in the office.
