Mangalore : Senior Congress leader B Janardhan Poojari has challenged Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi that he will quit politics if the BJP came to power in the state.
Poojari who spoke to reporters here on May 2, Thursday, as Modi was addressing a public meet at Nehru Maidan, said Modi too should follow suit in case BJP was defeated in Karnataka.
He has said Modi should reveal whether he accepted the challenge or not within 48 hours.
He also criticized Modi for terming Rahul Gandhi as golden spoon baby and added why Modi was silent about the golden chair of Janardhan Reddy. He said Modi had no moral right to speak about Karnataka politics.
