Mangaluru: “If CM Siddaramaiah has some morality or ethics in politics then let him ask resignation of Tanvir Sait who watched porno during the celebration of Tippu Jayanthi, or else CM should sack him from the cabinet if he has the guts,” said former union minister Janardhan Poojary.

Addressing press conference on Friday at Press Club, he said that Tanvir Sait has embarrassed the party and the state government. CM has shown negligence while reacting to the incident on front of media. He has said that there is no question of resigning as none has asked for it.

“CM has to give answer to the people of Karnataka. As per the reports the party high command has asked for a report on the issue. Without waiting for the report, the high command should dismiss him on the basis of media reports. He has committed a huge mistake when Indian culture is taken into consideration,” he said.

He further said that Tanvir Sait should not remain in the cabinet. He should tender his resignation immediately. Do not give the excuses.
