PoojaryMangaluru : Former union minister Janardhana Poojary demanded resignation of CM Siddaramaiah over DySP Ganapathi suicide case, on Thursday.

Speaking to the media personnel at district Congress office he said that the people of Karnataka are fed up with CM Siddaramaiah in the way he is handling DySP suicide case.

“In a survey conducted by an electronic media 99 per cent people have shown their dissatisfaction on CM in this case. Dying person will not give cooked up statements.

Whole world know that Ganapathi had named minister K J George, officers Pranab Mohanty and A M Prasad as the responsible for whatever happens to him. Even after having such strong evidence why are you not filing FIR,” he questioned.

He further said that a person is not important than a party. Protests are being staged in most of the districts demanding resignation of K J George.

“Moreover CM is spoling the image of Ganapathi’s wife Pavana. It is the duty of a CM to register the spouse’s statement when she is alive. You haven’t done that also. You are protecting George. You must step down from your chair. You are no longer eligible to be the CM of this state,” he said.

Kallige Taranatha Shetty, Corporator Appi Latha, Arun Kevello and others were present.
