Mangalore : Former union minister B Janardhan Poojary said that he will charge case against former chief minister of Karnataka B S Yeddyurappa for tampering the evidences required for the witness.
He was speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on November 11, Friday. He said that Yeddyurappa has sent the transfer order to Jeevan Kumar Gaonkar, ADGP, Administration, Bangalore and replaced Satyanarayan Rao, IGP (Intelligence) just two days before going to jail. He it said that Yeddyurappa has ordered chief secretary Ranganath to transfer Jeevan Kumar Gaonkar, who has only worked for four months.
Yeddurappa was arrested during the tenure of Jeevan Kumar Gaonkar, who is honest to court and clean from corruption from all the sides.
He also said that Yeddyurappa and present CM DVS Sadananda Gowda also transfered Lokayukta deputy inspector general of police Pranab Mohanty, hailed as an efficient officer by former Lokayukta justice N Santosh Hegde and replaced with Arun Chakravarthi.
Datta, who had filed a criminal case with the Lokayukta alleging that Yeddyurappa received kickbacks in Upper Bhadra Project, by then Mohanty transferred mid-way; hence the investigation must be done.
These all the transfer is being done just to tamper and destroy the evidence which is important for witness related to yeddyurappa’s denotification case. When Yeddyurappa was arrested, the court warned him not tamper with the evidence, but he did it. But I have hope on Supreme Court that it will surely give justice, he said.
When Yeddyurappa was imprisoned, most of the ministers including CM Gowda and Shobha Karandhlaje go to meet him secretly in his cell, which is the violation of the law, he informed.
Poojary warned Sadananda Gowda to be careful from Yeddyurappa, since he announced him as CM with the bad intention and he is using Gowda to hide his mistakes.
He questioned Anna Hazare to raise voice when the corruption in taking in large number in the state government. He also said that Ravi Shankar Guruji do not have the moral value to stop corruption in his state and gives speeches in other states.
Congress leaders like Kallige Tharnath Shetty, Arun Coelho, Harikrishna Bantwal and Mithun Rai were present.
