Mangalore : Balanjaneya Gym and Moodbidri’s Alva’s college teams bagged the overall team championship in the men’s and women’s section respectively at the Senior State Powerlifting Championship that concluded here on Sunday.
Vinod Raj from Balanjaneya Gym and Chaithra from the Nitte Education Trust were adjudged Strong Man and Strong Woman. The two-day competition was organised by the Karntaka State Powerlifting Association in association with Mangalore-based Carlo’s Gym.
