Mangalore: Padmanabha Prasad Hegde (known as Peepi) has scored the first rank in LLM exams under Kuvempu University recently. He topped in Trade and Commercial Law in the post graduate law exams, securing a gold medal.
Hegde has 17 years of experience as a lawyer in Mangalore (district) courts. He is an acknowledged criminal lawyer in the state. He has been an active Bar Council of India member, editor of local crime Reports published from Bangalore and headed the local Bar for a full term.
