Mangalore : Senior Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary said that all the communal clashes taking place in the state and district is the pre plan of Former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa to put down the present CM Sadananda Gowda from his post.
He was speaking at the press meet held at District Congress office on Jan 25, Wednesday. He said that the communal violence’s like hoisting Pakistani flag at Sindhagi and provocative speech at Uppinangady Hindu Samajotsava is done by the supporters of Yeddyurappa, to show that present CM has no control over avoiding communal violence.
He also said that these incidents show that it’s time for next Vidhan Sabha election. Yeddyurappa had earlier given time for high command to give him the post of CM on Jan 30 and now the time has been extended to February 10. He said that Yeddyurappa has also warned that if the high command does not return his post, then he will not sit quiet, but can go to any extent to get back the position.
Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat in his provocative speech at Uppinangady has attacked Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Police officials and even judiciary. In spite of blaming him for his speech, the RSS and District in charge minister Krishna J Palemar have supporting and encouraging him. The government took action the police officials who were in duty.
He said that Palemar must know that taking action against the police officials is wrong and Congress condemns it strongly. According to section 356, minister must be issued with non bail able warrant for interfering in the police duty.
He also challenged Prabhakar Bhat that if he says it is not the provocative speech, then he must call the press meet and prove it wrong.
