Udupi : Udupi MLA Pramod Madhwaraj  has   said that the accused in the Manipal student gang rape case should get the strictest punishment so that such incidents do not repeat in the future.

Addressing press persons here on June 28, Friday, he said  the state government had extended its wholehearted co-operation to the police department in probing the case and in arresting the culprits, Congress workers too have helped the police, he said and condemned some rumours that are rife regarding the case.
