Udupi: Cleaning rituals were undertaken by Youth congress religious priests in Udupi St. Mary’s (Madhwa) island off Malpe, where BJP MLA K. Raghupathi Bhat, supported by DC Reju, had conducted a 3-day porn show games of East-West dances/Music on Feb3-5, at the place where a huge statute of Swami Madhwacharya was to be erected by Paryaya Swami.

The Kapu/Udupi youth in Congress washed the area under Vedic rituals, with river water on Friday, Feb.10, to restore purity and holiness of the place, where Christians used to worship and St. Mary for blessings.

Youth leader P. Madhwaraj referred to Lord Parasurama, an Avator of lord Vishnu, who is believed to have thrown his bloody axe into sea from Western Gnats, to recover the land of Kanara district, and the ancient sage had protected the coastal land from Kasargod to Karwar, without calamities so far.
