Mangalore : An exhibition on 20 Acrylic on canvas colour paintings named ‘Colour Strokes’ made by Krishna K.M of Golabhavi, Jamakaandi , Bagalkot District and teaching in Gadag Art School, is on show at Prasad Art Gallery M.G Road Mangalore for three days, from Nov. 25 to 27.
It was inaugurated by Art Critic G.R. Krishna who writes columns in local news papers and is a teacher in a collage. He praised the painter as a fine artist who has depicted Music in instruments with imagery of Ragas or tunes in the back stage of such instruments. He wish all success to the budding artist who has already done some exhibitions in Delhi, Bangalore, Gadag, Mysore and now in Mangalore.
One expects that the paintings would be sold to the right kind of Art lovers who will have at least one of his paintings as an exhibit in their own houses on the walls.
The Artiste has dealt with both Folk and Classical instruments with Music, in his limited show of 20 paintings.
Ganesh Somayaji was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Anatha Padmanabha welcomed the gathering. Shivananda Hoogar compered the evening programme.
The painter thanked all those who attended his show of canvas painting.
