Bantwal: Journalist Prashant Punjalakatte have been elected as the new president of the Bantwal Taluk Working Journalists Association. and Maunesha Vishwakarma elected as General secretory of Association.

The selection process took place at the general meeting chaired by association’s president Harish Mambadi at the Bantwal Press Club on Tuesday. General Secretary of Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists Association Ibrahim Adkasthala conducted the selection process.

Imtiaz Shah Tubay was elected as the new Vice President, along with Yadav Argabile, and Venkatesh Bantwal as Treasurer.

General secretary of the association Ali Vitla read the report. Treasurer Yadav Agrabile presented the accounting.
