Mangalore:  At the elections to the Postgraduate All College Students’ Union for the year 2012-13 held at NGO Auditorium in Mangalore eon September 22, Saturday, Pratheek JP of Sahyadri College was elected the new President of the Union. Advocate Dinker Shetty was the election officer.

Raghuvir and Parikshit Braggs were elected the Vice Preisdents, while Karthik Nayak was elected the Chief Secretary, Santosh and Jane Shruthi D’Souza are the secretaries.

Other office-bearers are : Radhika Rani (secretary), Shafik and Ashwin Kumar Uppala, (Associate Secretaries), Nishanth L Chowta (Treasurer), Karishma Bangera and Pradeep Monteiro(Cultural Secretaries), Shabarish R Rao and Bharathraj (Sports Secretaries, Chethan Shetty(Convener) and Shiksha Diya, (Co-convener).

Ganesh Rao, Chairman of Karavali Group of Colleges, P B Harish Rai, President of  Press Club,  and others were present.

The newly-elected office-bearers were taken in a grand procession in an open vehicle.
