Mangalore : Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs and Civil Aviation Vayalar Ravi said that the idol of Sri Narayana Guru at Kudroli Gokarnatheshwara Temple has given a message of unity.

He was speaking after inaugurating the formal function of ongoing Mangalore Dasara at the Gokarnanatha temple on October 2, Sunday.

He also said that the principles of Narayana Guru are still relevant and practical preached his followers not to hate any religion and caste.

Former Union minister B Janardhana Poojary was also present on the occasion.
