Mangalore : A youth was killed in an accident, leaving other injured as the Bajaj Pulsar bike they rode was rammed by a private bus at Mallikatte on April 20, Sunday around 8 am.

The deceased is Manoj Nayak, son of Narayana Nayak and the identity of another injured is not known.

Reportedly, a private bus had an overtaken the youths who were on their Pulsar bike at a deviation in Mallikatta, due to which the bike riders were forced to fall beneath the back tyre crushing them along with their bike.

The duo was later admitted to two different private hospitals in a critical condition, during which Manoj who was taken to the city hospital was pronounced dead after preliminary treatment, while another is said to be battling for life in other private hospital.
