Mangaluru : An auto-rickshaw driver was assaulted by a private bus driver and conductor  for picking up passengers near Hotel Sai Suraj International at Surathkal on Sunday, July 11.

The victim is identified as Sudhakar, who has been in the profession for just three months.

It is said that, the auto driver picked up a few passengers on is auto near Marigudi, Suratkal. The bus named Kohinoor was overtaken the auto , then  a conductor, bus driver assaulted the victim.

The injured auto driver has been has been admitted to Padmavathi hospital.

A case has been  registered in the Suratkal police station.
