Mangaluru : Mangalore refinery and Petrochemical Ltd is hosting the Kabaddi championship between Oil and Gas majors of the country.

This event is being held from 28th to 31st of January at MRPL Employees Recreation Centre in MRPL colony. Major oil sector companies like ONGC, BPCL,CPCL, EIL and MRPL etc are battling for the honours.

ONGC and BPCL especially have star studded teams. Many of the International Kabaddi players of Pro-Kabaddi league fame have arrived to Mangalore to showcase their skills. Masters like Manpreet Singh, NavneetGautam, Joginder Singh, Jasvir Singh, Amit, Praveen Kumar, Rajesh Narwal, SomvirShekhar, Raj Kumar Dubay and NeerGulia are in the ONGC team. Whereas KashlingAdake, RohithRana, NitinLaxman More, NileshShindhe, GirishErnak and RishankDevadiga are in BPCL Team.

Finals will be hled on 31stJnauray at the MERC lawns.
