Mangalore : Naveen Kumar Kateel BJP Mp from Mangalore has listed his last four years of achievements in press briefings at BJP office Mangalore on 1st June Saturday.
A total fund released on MP’s development program in last four years amounts to 81 crores 20 lakhs 35 thousand and 560 rupees. It has been spent on development, education and health in his constituency. On Railway development six meetings has been conducted and due to pressure exerted on Railway board Padil underbridge has been sanctioned. Jappukudupady over bridge proposal has been already sent to Railway board and due to efforts by MP six extra trains has been added to Mangalore Central.
On national highway 48, the amount 6.68 crores has been spent on totally spoiled roads in Shiradi section and on National highway 13, Rs.35.37 crores has been spent. On chief ministers special grant Rs.5.69 crores has been spent on rural roads in the district. On MP’s local development fund Rs.12.53 lakhs has been spent on priority basis in 8 assembly constituency.
On MRPL fund, prime minister fund, temple and mosque fund, the money has been spent on priority. Effort has been made to include Tulu language in 8th schedule. On BSNL towers, because of the efforts of Mangalore MP, 12 towers has been sanctioned and six towers has been commissioned.
