Udupi: The Udupi DCIB police have arrested three persons in connection with prostitution in a room at the Durga International Hotel near the city bus stand.

Shekhar Shetty, Johnson D’Almeida and Harshit Shetty were arrested.

The accused, Shekhar Shetty, Manu, Raju, Jonson D’Almeida and Rajeshwari Shetty, are allegedly involved in prostitution in the form of hotels. By a credible information police arrested three from the hotel room.

Four mobile phones, Rs 6730 cash and other assets related to the act have been seized.

A case has been registered at the Udupi Women’s Police Station.
