Mangaluru : The Ullal police have arrested three persons in charge of immoral activity in an vacant house at Someshwar on Thursday August 27.

The police raided the house and found four men engaged in immoral activities with one girl. During the arrest operation, one of the accused assaulted police constable Mahesh Gatti.

The arrested are Rakesh (34), a resident of New Uchila, Mohammed Siraj (30) of Beeri, and 35-year-old married woman from Asaigoli and two others managed to escape.

Ullal Police led by SI Bharathi and other police raided the place following a tip off from locals that a vacant house in the area was being used for some immoral activity.

Abbas of Beeri and Jafar, a resident of Mukkacheri, Jafar jumped over the compound wall and fled away.

It is said one of the accused Rakesh assaulted the constable. He was later admitted to a hospital in Deralakatte.

Ullal police have registered a case and are investigating.
