Bengaluru: “Protection bhagya for corrupted politicians, promotion bhagya for culprits” this is the slogan of Karnataka Aam Aadhmi Party. They have planned for a huge protest against the corruption in Karnataka.

Addressing the media personnel at Bengaluru on Saturday, AAP Media Convenor Shiva Kumar Chengalaraya said that people elected Siddaramaiah to end the corruption of BJP government. But since Siddaramaiah had taken charge as CM he proved that all the promises made during election were false one.

“He is backing the corrupted, insincere officers and ministers since beginning,” he said.

Speaking about the selection of Shyam Bhat as Chief of KPSC he said that the AAP will hold a huge protest in front of governor house, on August 16.

“We will try to convince the governor about his mistake of choosing Shyam Bhat as KPSC chief. Former BDA commissioner Shyam Bhat’s name is also mentioned in the allegations of corruption. His selection has led to many doubts on the governor also,” h added.

He further said that Shyam Bhat is involved in Arkavathi mansion scam, illegal denotification and BDA scam also. He has 21 Lokayukta cases on him. Previously same governor has rejected his name for the KPSC chief post. Then why did he choose the same person for the same post?

“Even BJP and JDS are also mum in this matter. Karnataka AAP urges BJP and JDS to speak out in this matter and to put pressure on governor. Karnataka AAP will hold protest against these developments and will picket the DC office and protest against the government. Our protest will not stop, until governor takes back his decision,” he stated.
