Puttur : The missing women Keerthika (24) from Putturu has finally traced after six months from Tamil Nadu and was produced before Puttur court on Wednesday, March 18.
The family members of Keerthika and her husband initially filed a missing complaint and then alleged that she was abducted by her colleague Denson. Keerthika married to Giridhar Bhat of Kallare had gone missing from September, 2014.
Keerthika had traced from in an ashram in Villupuram of Tamil Nadu. The Puttur police led by Inspector B K Manjayya traced her then was produced before court on Wednesday, March 18.
It is said, she did not wanted to live with her husband, She alleged her husband and mother-in-law, given mental torture. She also refuted the charges leveled by her husband and in-law that she was forcefully converted. She was happy living in the ashram and urged the judicial authority to send her back to the ashram. Based on Keerthika’s request the court agreed to send her back to the ashram.
Keerthika (24), a software engineer was married to Puttur based photographer Giridhar Bhat. Post marriage, she shifted her base to Bengaluru owing to her career. In between, Keerthika’s husband along with in-law made her resign from the work and shift back to Puttur after they suspected her of developing an illicit relationship with her colleague – Denson.
