Puttur: Police have nabbed two notorious thieves who were wanted in many theft cases and shop robbery cases.

Basheer of Kodangai Radhukatte and Ashraf of Kadambu are the arrested persons.

Ashraf was caught on September 2 while selling the stolen item at Kabaka, Puttur. He was a auto driver by profession.

While police interrogated Ashraf, he revealed the names of other two. Basheer and Mohammad Ashraf were arrested based on statement given by Ashraf.

After arresting all the three thieves, who were involved in bike thefts and robbery, police have recovered the stolen goods from the thieves.
