Mangalore : Madhusudan Kushe, Chairman and Managing Director of the PVS Group of Companies, well –known for its PVS Brand of beedies, passed away here on May 22, Wednesday evening following  an illness.

Kushe who took over the  administration of the PVS Beedies fro, his father Puttu Vaikunta Shet after his demise, led the firm to greater heights in  a short span of time.

He  had fort the first time introduced Group Insurance Scheme  for beedi workers and other welfare programmes  and had also founded the Sarojini Madhusudan Kushe Education Trust offering quality education from LKG to degree courses.

His mortal remains have been kept at his residence near the passport office in Mangalore to enable public to pay homage to the departed chairman of PVS group.
