Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’ unfolded on screens yesterday and it was received with mixed reviews. Reliance BIG Pictures and Madras Talkies’ ‘Raavan’ has grossed Rs 20 crores worldwide at the box office on the opening day from its three versions – Hindi (Raavan), Tamil (Raavanan) and Telugu (Villain).
‘Raavan’ is India’s first film to have released worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu language simultaneously.
The film has opened in 2200 screens worldwide on 18th June in all its three versions. ‘Raavan’ was also well-received by international audience and critics.
