Mangalore:  A talk on ‘Brand Mangalore in Present Scenario” was held in the city on August 26, Sunday under the auspices of Rachana and Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Speaking on the topic, Ronald Fernandes, Chief of Bureau, Deccan Herald, Mangalore, highlighted the  historical significance of Mangalore. He also briefed on the role of media in Brand of Mangalore. He said media which worked for independence during the post-independence era,  is now working for the development if the nation. On the revolution in the media field he said web portals  have made news faster than newspapers. At the same time, he also had to mention about the breaking news which sometimes become nightmare.
