Mangalore: As many as 60 RAF personnel, both men and women marched from Attavar to Town Hall in Mangalore on July 26, Thursday as part of their routine operation to know the city and its situation. This is said to be a regular exercise of the RAF. The RAF team from Coimbatore, later left for Bantwal.
It is worth mentioning here that the Rapid Action Force is a wing of the Central Reserve Police Force and is pressed into service during violence and rioting and also for rescue operations in times of natural calamities.
