Mangalore ; The Railway Department has released the time table list of the newly announced trains. The timings are given as follows.
As per the information provided, the Yeshwanthur-Mangalore train will operate once a week from July 1. The train will leave Yeshwanthpur every Sunday at 11.45 pm and reach Mangalore Central Station at 5.40 pm on Mondays. Simultaneously, the train will leave Mangalore station at 9 pm on Mondays and reach Yeshwanthpur at 12.30 noon on Tuesdays. The route of the train is via Palakkad, Shoranur, Thirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur and Kasargod.
The Madgaon-Mangalore super fast inter-city express train is a daily train. It will leave Madgaon at 4.15 pm every day and reach Mangalore Central at 10 pm. The train will leave Mangalore Central station at 8.15 am and reach Madgaon at 2 pmThe date of commencement of this train service will be announced by the Railway Department later.
The following train services have been extended. However the date of extension will be announced later: Train No 12654/12653 (Re numbered as 16858/16857) Mangalore Central – Tiruruchchirapalli (Weekly) Express will be Extended up to Puducherry. Train No 12508/12507 Guwahati-Ernakulam (Weekly) Express will be Extended up to Thiruvananthapuram. Train No 12082/12081 Thiruvananthapuram-Kozhikode Jan Shatabdi (5 Days) Express will be Extended up to Kannur, while Train No 66611/66612 Ernakulam-Thrisur (Daily) will be extended up to Palakkad.
