Mangalore: The district level Kannada Rajyotsava programme will be held at Nehru Maidan on November 1 at 9 am.  District in-charge Minister CT Ravi will hoist the flag and deliver the Rajyotsava message. Deputy Speaker N Yogish Bhat and other elected representatives will participate as chief guests.

Students of various schools will present a march past and  render patriotic songs on the occasion. Outstanding achievers will also be honoured.

The function to be held at Town Hall at 3 pm will feature police band, cultural variety by school children as well as various programmes by the Department of Kannada and Culture, Kannada Sahitya Parishat and Public Education Department.
