Mangalore : Hundreds of people took part in a rally organised in the city on October 2, Wednesday urgaing the government to drop the Yettinahole project. The rally was organised by the  Karavali Yuva Sinchana, Vanya Charana Balaga and Rotary Club of Mangalore. Several other organizations including Nurture Nature Club of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, St Aloysius College, Karavali Chitra Kala Chavadi, Kudremukh Wildlife Foundation, Meredian College, Youth Hostel Association of India, All College Association, Aam Aadmi Party (DK), Netravati Samrakshana Samiti, Malenadu Students’ Association, RX Life and  Lions Club  also took part in the huge rally.

Malenadu Janapara Horata Samithi leader Kishore Kumar spoke on the occasion and urged the government to immediately  abandon the project.

Several people including Dinesh Holla of Vanya Charana Balaga, niren Jain, Chief Co-ordinator of Kudremukh Wildlife Foundation and others participated in the rally.
