Mangalore : A Ramadan Literary evening and a multi-lingual poets meet will be held at  the Namma Bhoomi Study Centre at Hattiangady in Kundapur taluk  on August 12 under the auspices of the Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy and Sadbhavana, Kundapur.The programme will be inaugurated by K Jayaprakash Hegde, Udupi Chikmagalur MP.

K Lakshminarayana, MLA of Byndoor, will preside over the function, while K Ismail, Khateeb of Kirimanjeshwar mosque, will deliver a discourse on the occasion.

The poets meet will be presided over by noted poet Mohammad Baddoor. Among others who will participate are Harish Gulvady, Maulana Nadvi and Ganesh Gangolli.
