Mangaluru : Reacting to the statement against Nalinkumar Kateel, BJP spokesperson Harikrishna Bantwal said  Ramanath Rai Showing up that he is still in politics. He belongs to the Kumbakarna family, he has no moral rights to call Nalin Kumar Kateel is the laziest MP,

The statement which Rai has given to the media is condemnable, he should apologize, Harikrishna said.

Addressing the press at BJP office  on Tuesday Harikrishna Bantwal said, Siddaramaiah’s government was the worst government we have ever seen. Why did not the people vote for Ramanath Rai in the recent Assembly elections? Ramanath Rai’s days are over, he will not win any elections henceforth.

Rai also responsible for Congress MLAs who had lost in the last elections. MLA J R Lobo, Vasanth Bangera and Shakuntala Shetty are blaming Ramanath Rai for their defeat.

Ramanath Rai himself is found sleeping in every meeting and we have evidence that he was sleeping even in the assembly.

Ramanath Rai supported those involved in sand mining and transport within his party, when he was the district minister in-charge.  Rai has been involved in illegal mining since 2008 in the government land without permission with the former Bantwal panchayat president. After approaching the court the court had brought a stay for mining in that land, Harikrishna Bantwal alleged.

He also said, If Ramanath Rai contests for the MP elections it will be a bumper for the BJP. Ramanath Rai has no moral rights to talk about MP Nalin Kumar Kateel. Ramanath Rai should take a break and rest at home.

Ramanath Rai is only responsible for communal violence, cow trafficking or murder in Dakshina Kannada, He transferred good officer who worked against him.
