Hyderabad: Well known film villain in 6 languages in different roles of artistry, Rami Reddy, suffering ill-health since a few days, passed away in Hyderabad KIMS Hospital on Thursday morning.
Reddy had acted in Kannada films like “Abhimanyu” along with Prabhakar and Shashikumar. He was as famous in Telugu as Vajramuni was in Kannada, as an anti-hero in many ways. His bald pate and sharp eyes were meant to enhance his appeal to villain roles. But he was sensitive and shy in real life. He looked fierce on the screen in reel life.
He was a journalist before he entered films, writing for Urdu and Hindi newspapers. He had post-graduated in journalism from Osmaina University at Hyderbad.
