Mangaluru: As per video footage the prime accused who involved in the murder of Ranjith, has been arrested by the police here on Friday June 5.

It is said, two other persons also involved in the case. The arrested is Dhanu have agreed to the crime and he also close friend of him.

Accused Dhanu had chased Ranjith from Neharu maidan to Town Hall and stabbed with a sharp weapon. Ranjith had tried to escape had later collapsed near a canteen near the Taluk Office. He was found lying in a pool of blood in the Taluk Panchayat premises here. Though locals admitted him to Wenlock Hospital, he could not be rescued.

It is learnt, a person had questioned about who had attacked him when he collapsed and recorded his response in a mobile phone, the footage of which was later collected by the police. Ranjith had revealed then that a person named Dhanu from Kandak had attacked him with a knife.
