Bantwal : A complaint has been lodged in Bantwal Town Police Station against a person named Purushottam on the charges of raping the daughter of his wife’s sister.

The victim was attending college by staying at a relative’s house at B C Road. It is learnt the accused Purushottam too stayed in the same house and used to often threaten and rape her.

He had also reportedly threatened to kill the victim if she divulged the matter to her family.

The girl, unable to bear his harassment anymore had informed the matter to her family members following which a complaint was lodged.
