Puttur : HJV leader Ratnaker Shetty, an accused in Kalladka stabbing case was taken to the hospital in Mangaluru for x-ray and ECG after he complained of chest pain, said Hospital sources.

A rumor was spread in morning that, Ratnaker Shetty fled from the Adarsha Hospital in Puttur, Doctors have claimed that he is now back in Adarsha Hospital.

Ratnakar Shetty was taken to another hospital without the knowledge of the police, a doctor reportedly said that as he was not under official arrest yet, they did not need police permission to take him to another hospital.

SP Bhushan Gulabrao Borase has assured to look into the issue.
