Mangaluru : A youth died in a road accident at Jeppinamogaru here on early hours in Monday June 8.

The deceased identified as Ashwini (27), a resident of Thokkottu, working at Land Links office in Kodialbail here for the last 15 years.

It is suspected that late night on Sunday June 7, he might have lost control and hit the lorry parked near Geeta garage in Jeppinamogaru.

The locals found his body lying in a ditch and informed the police. The body was shifted to Wenlock hospital.

Mangaluru rural police have registered a case.
