Mangalore: Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, on August 25, Saturday inaugurated the renovated Conference Hall of the Mangalore City Corporation. The CM unveiled the marble plaque on the occasion.
Mayor Gulzar Banu, Deputy Mayor Amitha Kala, District Minister CT Ravi, Yogish Bhat, Deputy Speaker, Nalin Kumar, MP, KN Vijayaprakash, ZP CEO, Harish Kumar, MCC Commissioner, ZP President Shailaja Bhat, S Suresh Kumar, State Minister for Urban Development, Deputy Commissioner Dr Channappa Gowda and several others were present.
Later, speaking to reporters, the Chief Minister described the renovated MCC conference hall as the crown of the city. He also assured every possible measure on behalf of the government to provide 24×7 water supply facility to the areas within the MCC limits.
The CM also said he has met the Endosulfan affected people and added the government would provide compensation to the affected.
On the Homestay attack, the CM promised stern action against the perpetrators of the attack.
