Mangalore : Eminent and veteran Kannada poet ‘Nadoja’ Siddalingaiah to chair the three-day 11th edition of ‘Alva’s Nudisiri’, an annual literary meet to be held at Moodbidri from November 14.
Speaking at the press meet on October 8, Wednesday Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation said another veteran Kannada writer Na D’Souza, will inaugurate the three-day literary meet to held with the main theme ‘Karnataka: Varthamanada Tallanagallu’.
Alva said that the meet will comprise of Various literary sessions based on the theme and sub-themes to cover the entire gamut of issues in its entirety. Apart from it, the event will present the cultural programmes spread over six stages across the campus.
The entry for the programme is free for students, while others will have to pay the fee of Rs 100 as delegates since they will be provided with three day boarding and lodging facilities.
Renowned scholars, critics and literature lovers will attend the event.
